The gia is a 14' lapstrake constructed with 1/4", 5-ply okume hull (4 sheets), mahogany decking & seats, and sitka spruce for the mast, boom & yard. I used West System Epoxy outside and inside, but no fibreglass cloth or fabric.

Les Dickson spent 25 years working at SIAST (Prince Albert) as an instructor and later as a consultant in Planning Research & Development. His responsibilities included program evaluations, curriculum design, data collection & analysis, and managing a portion of the SIAST Intranet web site.
Les holds a Bachelor of Education degree (with Great Distinction - U of S) and has taken numerous workshops and courses in HTML, PHP & My SQL, databases, focus groups, survey design and data analysis.
In 2005, Les was the recipient of the SIAST Innovation Award.
